Getting rid of whistles

Hello All,

Years ago, when I first started playing tinwhistle, I spent many of an hour reading these boards and practicing whistling while waiting for my dialup connection to load each new page. Now, time has passed and I have faster internet and less time to play my instruments. In fact, I’ve been out of the loop for quit some time.

Which brings me to this. I have some very nice low whistles and a nice tin whistle I am ready to try to sell off.

Here’s what I have, a Copeland Low D Tuneable, Overton Low D Tuneable, Overton Low F, and a Overton High D

I know that the Copeland is harder to find since he’s not even making them these days, but am not sure what someone would be willing to pay for it. The Overtons I know are actually Colin Goldie made models, and am not sure if they are still being made.

If you’re interested in any of these whistles, get in touch with me at israelhill [at] gmail [dot] com

Maybe my disinterest will land someone some very nice whistles.

Copelands are still being made, just at a slower rate. Anyone correct me if i’m wrong.

Copeland is not accepting new orders at this time, but is working through his current list.

I have noticed most people are getting close to what they paid for originally on their copelands because of the fact copeland is, like said, not taking new orders currently. Sometimes people get a bit less but not much less…

And as far as Colin Goldie is concerned, he is alive and well and still making Overtons. I got a few from him not long agao and have a Bass G being made currently!
