FS: Uilleann Pipe Works of Boston chanter in C. Resin bottom, brass top, no keys. Bought new in May '07. Plays great. Strength of the reed is soft enough for ease of playability while providing just the right resistance and balance between the first and second octave. Top has a bit of finger tarnish but nothing that can’t be buffed out.
As you may know, the UPB guys closed their books on 1-May-08. This less-expensive but still high quality chanter will be more difficult to come by. I am selling only to offset the cost of an upgrade to a blackwood C chanter.
Sell for $500 new. I’m asking $400 plus shipping. Cheaper with no wait.
