The Dixon polymer flute is now sold.
I am selling my Dixon 3-piece polymer flute with brass rings, plus my Tipple low B and low C 3-piece flutes. All 3 of these are excellent flutes, with a wonderful sound. Not too difficult to play. The Dixon 3-piece polymer D flute is older and has some light surface scratches, and a bit of tape around one of the tendons, but plays wonderfully. The head is the older-style traditional oval embouchure hole cut.. not the newer square cut. In my opinion, the older Dixon embouchure cut is much easier to play and is louder than the newer square cut (I’ve played both). Both the Tipples are in near-new condition. I bought them new less than 1 year ago. Both flutes have the lip plate and wedge, plus offset finger holes. All 3 come with cloth cases.
