FS:Overton Low D[SOLD]

The Overton is Sold, the Shakuhachi is removed from sale at this time

Very nice toned Bernard Overton Low D. Not as much back pressure as some of Colins, but it’s still there, and a nice amount for expressiveness. It has a round tone, with some chiff, and a strong low end.

New last year, I paid about $200 with shipping. It’s not easy to part with, let me tell you! But, it’s not getting played, and I can use the cash.

This is not the small hands model, the stretch is fairly long. Shows light playing marks if you look close, otherwise it looks new. Fairly sharp tonehole edges, but you can smooth them if you wish. They didn’t bother me, and help you feel where the holes are when playing in piper’s grip. With nice Colin Goldie soft case.

For Sale at $150 postage paid in the continental USA.

Removed from sale[/] Perry Yung 2.4 Earth model Shakuhachi flute, non root-end, offset finger holes. $125 shipped continental USA. Beautiful tone, not concert pitch, but in tune with itself very well. Good stretch on holes, but managable for normal to large hands (approx 30 inch length). Has hairline crack about 3 inches long, but is stable (Perry offered to fix it, and no doubt would if that concerns you). Fully bound also, and has a nice antiqued look to it. With bag, cloth and utaguchi cover included. You can see Perry’s flutes at Yungflutes.com and on Ebay. He’s a talented maker, and a great guy too.

I prefer a US Postal Money Order, but can take PayPal if you add the 3.5%.

Email or PM if interested, thanks!

Barry,

What a great price for an AMAZING whistle!

I think I’m in love with it (can you tell from the pics?).

I can’t stop playing it - It’s a good thing that I have huge lungs. :open_mouth:

Thanks a bunch!

I’m happy for you Daniel!
