I’ve got a non-tunable low D made by Colin Goldie I’d like to sell. I bought it brand new at the end of 2006, the whistle says 2006 on the inside of the tube. I still have the case and certificate that came with it. The whistle sounds and plays fine. I haven’t really played any other low D’s, but I think this is more medium/easy blowing. It has some normal light wear on it, there is a tiny mark about the size of a period up by the back of the mouthpiece. You can feel it with your fingernail, but that’s about it. I’m wanting to sell it because I often don’t have enough time on stage to get it warmed up enough to play in-tune with other people. It’s in-tune when it’s warmed up though. I need to look for something tunable. I checked the Overton website and xe.com, these are $270.00 new. Just PM me an offer, or I might trade for another low whistle of similar value.
