Thinking of selling:
Excellent flute by Blackman. This flute has rose engine turned rings and cap and is marked with the queens seal. All 8 keys working brilliantly. Excellent tuning and response. Perfect big bottom D you can lean into. Low c nice and strong. Cocus and nickel.
Many have commented it’s very “Wylde-like” and may have been made in the the Wylde shop though there is no marking to indicate this. Robert Bigio passed on that Wylde made flutes for Blackman and I’ve seen similar rose engine turned ringed flutes marked Wylde.
It was restored by Jon C many years ago.
It has been my main flute for a few years.
I don’t think you’ll find a better 8 key at this price.

Anyway,
Flute was 'reserved’but that person has backed out. I’m still waiting to hear back
about the pipes I’m after. The maker will get back to me sometime next week.

You won’t get a better 8 keyed flute at the price of a good keyless flute.

Can’t believe no one has committed to buying this yet.
About six people interested but no firm taker.
Perhaps my clips are putting people off.
I can make better ones those above are rather rushed.
If someone wants to get in contact in the next two days I will include a period antique flute box( the one the flute is pictured in one of the above photos) and a four keyed cocus Bb treble band flute also by Blackman.
