Sorry- not a Wylde flute. It is made by Alexander Liddle, ex. Rudall workshop. He was one of their keymakers. He also made keys for Boosey, D’Almaine, and Wood & Ivy, among others.

Some good instruments here. Do you have serial numbers for the two Rudall & Rose flutes David?

4

No serial numbers Steamie-- sorry. The Bb cane flute has been sold.

Re: “Keith, Prowse, ex Rudall Rose, cocus, silver keys, c. 1835, exc. condition, €1,850”

I unquestioningly accepted the designation by the person who owned the Keith, Prowse flute at one time. Apparently there is no certainty regarding either the precise date or the actual maker of the flute. Consequently I am happy to lower the price to €1,500 or best offer.

Thanks to those who have kindly pointed this out to me.
