I have for sale a Black Diamond whistle in d. I was lucky enough to be on the whistle tour and bought this one shortly thereafter, so it is a couple years old.
It has a slight ding in it to the side closer to the back at the finger hole which is 3rd from bottom. The ding in no way affects the intonation or playability and my thumbs do not rest on it. Has a very nice patina. Otherwise this whistle is in excellent shape and includes the heavy duty metal tube with Delrin plug ends Mr. Bartlet shipped it in.

Just to clarify…the ding is no where near the finger holes and the whistle plays perfectly.
These go from $75.00 to $100.00 new depending where you buy it.

Yow! Half price or better because of a little ding?!!! Sounds like a good deal to me. I’m just not a high whistle player much, or much of one either, for that matter.

Oh, and don’t let that goatee fool ya, Jim’s a good guy too-he’s one of them in the white (cowboy) hats!

Thanks GreenSpiderWeb. It’s now almost 3 years since my avatar photo was taken and the goatee is nearly all white.
In a few weeks I will once again own a Copley, this time all wood:)

You’re not the only one with snow on your face-me too! Mine’s still a little dirty though, but probably not for long.

Glad to hear you’ve got a Copley coming shortly-hard to go wrong with one of those, and the all wood is supposed to have a very nice voice too. Enjoy!
