Sold: Sindt D Sterling Silver Whistle.

The whistle is sold, thanks to all who inquired. I have a like-new Sindt D silver whistle I’d like to sell. The tube is sterling silver, the head is black delrin. The sound is a bit cleaner than the brass Sindt, and has a nice ring to it.

I’d like to get $150 for this whistle (which is what I paid). I’ll throw in shipping for that price. PM if interested.

There have been various opinions about what John S
charges for these, so I e mailed him.

He responded:

Hi Jim,A new whistle with a silver tube would be $130. …Standard D whistle is $95 and i’m about 6 months behind on delivery.To put you on the list i need your mailing address and phone number.The volume is the same,the tone of the silver is a little softer.Cheers,John

I post this just to get it straight–obviously Dana is not trying
to pull a fast one. These are rarely made and getting the
info isn’t so easy.

I paid 150 for one too. I think these are swell whistles
and well worth that price.

Sure looks nice. Very tempting. I don’t really have Whoa, all I want are the whistles I don’t have. :slight_smile:

I have one of these, which I bought from a board member last month, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. They truly are lovely whistles, easy to play with a gorgeous tone.

I hope someone will really enjoy this great whistle.
