I have an 8key cocus flute (keys are sterling) made by Wallis which I purchased several years ago at auction in the UK.
I had it to work up and turn into a gorgeous flute, but just can’t make the time to get to it.
So, if there’s anyone wanting to work on a flute (I can’t even recall here where there are cracks to it, but my recollection is it’s just the barrel) and have a dandy one when they’re done for pretty much the cost of restoration, let me know via email. (flutes at rudallrose.com)
Tone holes are rimmed with silver inserts, but a couple are missing. which was half the fun in making them.
I can provide photos.
Oh…and it’s at my cost…$400. (plus the shipping)
thanks
