Since Jon’s new tweaks to his Cochran 001 have proven to be beyond my dreams and my recent acquisition of his 8 key Bauer fulfill my keyed cravings I am offering up my 6 key M&E. I purchased it from a member of the Southern California Pipers Club a few years back and it has proven to be a very good instrument. I think this is an older M&E R&R since the cap is not the copy of the original R&R endcap…instead it has information regarding the maker. If I can get a digital camera from a friend I’ll post pictures of it soon.
Price is $650 ($750 new I believe). Money Orders acceptable…and it would be best to sell it in the US, but not limited to it.
I forgot to mention it comes in a padded gun case to scare off the bodhran players. I don’t think I made it clear that I am willing to ship anywhere and I’ll take Paypal or money order…I just prefer the US and money orders etc.
That’s a phenomenal price for a 6 keyed flute…I’d buy it if I didn’t already have the exact same flute myself (and I have a pistol case, too, which I’m convinced adds a certain recklessness to one’s playing).

Hello Michael. You mentioned the different cap… So… is there a remote possibility that yours actually is a keyed version of the previous model, not the R&R one?
I apologize for the impertinence if that’s not the case.
Mine which is an R&R model for sure originally had a different cap, too, but it did say R&R on it along with M&E Flutes. But even so, we’d need Michael to chime in on that.
