Wow - what with the current exchange rate and all this is a superb deal…and I can’t imagine a better way to experience a keyed flute that you know will be in tune and playable (not a chancy antique that is unrestored).
I play one daily.

This is a great price and Chih is a trustworthy member of our community from my experience. I’ve dealt with him twice before. Someone from this Board should buy this flute.

Should we assume this is the R&R model and not the original M&E design?

If it’s the same flute as in the picture, yep! Those new style rings came out long after the original model was discontinued, I believe.
So, that means someone will get those 6 keys for only about $200 over retail of a keyless M&E!
Yeah, I knew it was the R&R. I just thought others might like to know though.
I bought an R&R style with those same rings while Michael was still offering the original. I do have two of the original models (one is keyed). I prefer the sound of the R&R model.
My keyed M&E has no rings but my keyless R&R, which has the rings in the picture, is heavier than my keyed original. With the rings and the keys that’s got to be a handful to play after a few sets!

Heavy is such a relative term. I played mine for 2 hours on Saturday followed by 3 hours on Sunday - no problem whatsoever. There was a weigh in on this forum in the past (I searched but the C&F search engine isn’t my friend tonight…I’m sure Denny could find it, though 
) and the M&E really isn’t that much heavier than any other keyed flute with a lined head.
