For Sale: M&E Rudall Model, keyless *price reduced*

Hello All -

I’m selling my M&E. I finally saved up for a wooden flute, a Jon C flute in blackwood. The M&E is a good playing flute, but I’m a one flute kinda guy, and I just don’t play it. I can’t stand to see a good instrument go unplayed.

I picked up the flute directly from Michael Cronnolly in September '05. The shiny finish is worn off at the lip and where my thumbs go, but otherwise the flute is exactly as I received it. It also has steel rings.

I’m asking $350 including the soft case. I’ll cover shipping. US only please (I’m just to lazy to deal with international shipping issues). PM me if interested.

I hope all are well,
MC

bump!

What kind of Jon C. flute are you getting? I made the transition very well to his R&R blackwood flute. Very similar beast to the M&E. I think you are really going to be satisfied.

I am very satisfied with my Jon C. I’ve had it since Arts Week in East Durham this summer, so I’m finally getting used to it. I like the M&E sound and the smaller finger holes so I chose the R&R Blackwood. The holes are slightly bigger than the M&E, which has worked out swimingly. It’s a bit lighter and has a narrower outside diameter which I like.

The hard part was getting used to actually caring for a wood flute instead of just picking up and playing my always assembled polymer. So far its been worth it.
