I have 2 Bleazey whistles to sell - a D and a C. They are being neglected, which should never happen to one of Mr Bleazey’s creations. I have 3 other Bleazeys which get played a lot, but for the keys of D & C my Boisverts are my all time favorites in wood - plus also have Reyburns, Burke, Park, etc. I’m selling now to help finince a new Forbes flute that’s almost ready.
The D is in Blackwood - I bought it from Doc who let me “try it out” (clever sales technique if ever there was!) It plays sweet and even throughout the range. Price will be $205 including shipping in Continental US. (These are $260 new)
The C is in Mopani. Bought this from someone here on C&F - can’t remeber who. It has what I can only describe as a thick full low register - almost like a low whistle or Pratten flute. It is also smooth & even throughout the range. I’m sell this for $215 with shipping. (sells new for $280)
Both whistles have been oiled regularly with all my wood instruments - about every 6 weeks and I’ve not had any problems. They come in those classey Bleazey bags.
