Reduced Silkstones for sale

I am genuinely trying to re-home the last of my rarely played whistles. If anyone is interested in the two high D Silkstones, one narrow bore and one wide bore, both aluminium, please email me. I will sell them for £50 GBP each, plus postage at cost to anywhere. I have the paperwork about them, and the nice little bags! They are very nice whistles, and hard to get hold of now - I just don’t play them enough. (Too busy playing the ones I’m keeping!)

I also have a Bleazey high D, which I think is rosewood: I bought it second hand and do not know the wood for certain. It is also a lovely whistle, in very good condition, lovingly oiled and played! £70 GBP plus postage at cost, including its nice bag. - BLEAZEY NOW SOLD, thank you.

I will only take Paypal, please, but might haggle over the prices if you twist my arm! Please email me, as I don’t always see my PMs very quickly!

As of a couple years ago, Phil worked in blackwood, mopane (mopani), and boxwood (maybe a little yew, too); blackwood is a type of rosewood, mopane could easily be taken as a rosewood, but isn’t technically. If it’s a chocolate brown, it’s probably mopane, if almost black probably blackwood.

For those of you out there thinking about it, I have a Bleazey high-D that I will have to be pried from my cold dead hands. There’s no other whistle like it. And this is a great price.

Thanks, Charlie,

Probably mopane.

And now sold - many thanks, all who contacted me.
