Here’s an interesting one…clearly a whistle/flageolet but set up with a windcap with lateral rather then end-on blow-hole/wind-way (like a true flageolet) - pretty obviously for marching band type use to look like a real fife is being used - another approach equivalent to using a “cheater” clamp-on windway on a transverse embouchure hole of a real fife or band-flute. Anyway, looks decently made, not just a toy, and is probably (at 36cm length) in Bb, with a decent chance it is at A=440, I’d hazard. Looks to be conoid bore too, so could well be rather nice to play.

The pictures are doctored from the ones on eBay which are pretty dreadful!
