Sounds about right…I think it predated the M&E…(Rudall, that is)
I keep giving away Reliable Bros. ceramic G’s (cuz I can’t stop buying them…they don’t ship well either…loud though..)

Well that makes sense… I guess. 
I got mine in Pasadena for 6 bucks.
I put tape over a few of the holes and it plays like a regular 6 hole C flute… errrr… fife like thing.
It actually plays pretty well.
I wish it was black.
