Found a place!

Ok, for all of you who gave me advice when I was trying to decide whether to take that duplex, here is an update on my house search. :slight_smile:

We finally found a place! It is another 3-bedroom duplex, in the same town that we are in now but close to the hills. Unfortunately there are no cafes within walking distance; it’s pretty much just a residential neighborhood without any stores or businesses to speak of.

It is a block away from a small park, though, and a short drive from several parks in the hills with hiking trails.

It met our basic requirements for a place: washer/dryer, dishwasher & close to my husband’s work. It is a lot more expensive than where we are now, mainly because it’s in sort of a rich neighborhood. But there is more space, and we will have a small yard where John can grow plants, so hopefully it will work out well. The neighbors also have a 1-year-old, so maybe Eoghan can play with the neighbor.

Excellent! I am glad to hear the good news.

One benefit to “more expensive” is that it might be safer. Another is that it may provide a more intellectually stimulating environment for young Eoghan.
