After hesitating a long time, I’ve decided to sell my Michael Burke WBB, hi D. It’s the old style, without the Delrin mouthpiece and without the o-ring tuning slide. I bought the whistle from a fellow chiffboarder, who basically started out on it. For that reason, I have been reluctant to sell it, I like that sort of story.

The whistle plays very well, is well in tune and good for sessions if you think you need good volume, without being obnoxious.

I am only selling it because I am looking to finance the purchase of a Throatwarbler Mangrove.

The Burke WBB is the only metal high-D I’d never part with. I think it’s the best sounding whistle Mike ever made.

No no, it’s only spelled Throatwarbbler Mangrove. It’s pronounce Luxury Yacht.
