Has anyone any experience with flutes made by Dominic Allan?
I looked at his web-site and the few pictures show some interesting keywork.

Not me, but I agree–the key work looks beautiful.
I saw his flutes advertised last year, but no one has ever posted about what they’re like to play.
Anyone know where he’s based?

According to his web-site he is in Bruton in Somerset, 15 miles East from Glastonbury in England.
Not quite near enough for a quick visit from the North of Scotland I’m afraid!

did I read that site correctly? An 8-key blackwood flute for 995 pounds? Only slightly more than a 6-key M&E Rudall polymer.
Looks good, but can’t say I ever heard of the guy opr his flutes. sure would be fun to stop by Glastonbury to pick up a flute.
