Flute Player

New photos added to my website,

http://home.comcast.net/~glands/wsb/html/view.cgi-home.html-.html

So…how many of you can name the flute player on page 3 of the photos? I’m sure Peter Laban would know of him. Those of you who don’t…should. He is an unassuming gentleman from Co. Down. His family is musical as well.

??? All I see is a link to commercial gallery, http://www.localcolornashville.com/

Thats Leslie Bingham playing the flute.

Aye, Tara’s dad - there’s a nice photo of Leslie and Sam Murray at:

And Terrys.

It’s a very nice painting. I wish I could loosen up my brush style, but I’m a bit of a control freak when it comes to that…even in water color, but more so in oilpaints.

Bravo Tommy.

The pub is in Drumshanbo.

You can read all about the events leading to the painting in my upcoming book…“Tea in Connemara.” Who’d have thought that painting on location on the shores of Glencar Lough in Co. Sligo would have been such a life changing event!

The photo is horrid as the flesh tones are better in the painting. I’ve to re-photograph the painting for the book.

Prints can be made available for anyone interested. Oh yeah…commissions accepted…this concludes the shameless self-promotion commercial part of my post.

Okay, so who’s Ray Elwood? The painting of Roundstone is very nice.
