Floggin Molly - Devil's Dance Floor - Anyone have the tune?

Hello again,

This rather lively Irish band have a good energetic Tin Whistler to accompany them on some of their tracks. I find this quite a catchy tune, and was wondering if anyone had the score for the notes.

Cheers,

I don’t know of any score for it, but it’s a very simple riff, 13 notes long, and played solo several times at the beginning of the track. With a whistle and a CD player, you can probably work it out.

I don’t have the album with me, but I’ll guess that it starts on an E, or a B.

Flogging Molly has a bunch of wonderful tunes to play both harmony and melody along with… on the whistle! They seem to know only the keys of D and G, which is a major boon to us! Buy their CD’s, gang! My personal fave is “Drunken Lullabies”. I’ll put up a wooden version of something there, sometime. Or Delrin.

Alright I THINK I’ve got it…

Capital=Upper octave
Lowercase=Lower octave

E,B,A,B,F#,F#,G,E,F#,E,a,a,b,b,a,g,e
E,B,A,B,F#,F#,G,E,F#,E,a,a,b,b,a,g,g

I didn’t put in ornamentation but you should be abe to figure it out.
