I’ve been asked to play–what else–“Amazing Grace” at my dad’s boat club’s Blessing of the Fleet. Oh well, at least it’s not “Danny Boy” in front of a bunch of NASCAR fans… ![]()
I’m just starting to move from “newbie” to “inexperienced piper”, so it’ll be interesting… As long as it goes as well as it has as I’ve been practicing it, though, I think it will go over very well. Thanks to CF’er SRHill, I now have a nice-sounding Kennedy half set, which I’m quickly getting used to, so it’ll be a bit better presentation than my Daye practice set would’ve been!
Anyways, wish me luck, and if anyone has any last-minute advice or tips, it’d be much appreciated!
