finding a whistle...

Hey, I’ve got a tape called " Irish Dreams 2" by Cumberland Records, and the whistle player is John Mock. I’m trying to find out what kind of whistle he plays in that tape. Anyone know?

I have both Irish Dreams tapes, but I still don’t know what kind of whistles John Mock plays. Did yours come from a Cracker Barrel restaurant?

I don’t even remember where I got it, but I like it pretty well, and really like the whistle that is played in it.

Is this it?

I tried to order both CDs but it fatal errored me, so I’ll call tommorrow and order, the samples sound great!

Yup that’s it, I’ll have to get the first one.

John Mock also plays a whistle in “Trust Me” on Kathy Mattea “The Innocent Years” CD. It doesn’t specify the whistle, though, but it’s low.

I have both ‘Dreams’ CD’s and the first one was a disappointment after getting the second one first (if that makes sense). The first one seems a little too much like Muzak.

I appreciate the opinion, FJohnSharp, I was going to order both “Irish Dreams” CDs, but I’ll start with #2, and instead of #1 I’ll order “Celtic Visions”(the sample sounds like it may have more whistle on the album)
