feeler, Uileann of Boston Practice set

All,
I have a practice set of Uileann of Boston. Chanter (D), bellows, bag.
I have not been able to figure this thing out at all. I feel like I am trying to wrestle an octopus, and the sound is somewhat like torturing a fisher cat..
I paid @ 900 for the set and it is in VG condition.
Looking for offers, prefer to deal locally in the Boston, Area.

If interested, shoot me a pm.

Don’t sell yourself short; cat torturing is a career and service to mankind not much below the status of uilleann piping.

I’ve played Boston Uilleann Pipeworks chanters in D and C, and they play very nicely.

I’d recommend them to anyone wanting to learn the pipes.

Good luck with your sale! Richard

I’d agree about the quality.
Just be aware that Pat and Alex are no longer in business, and no longer supporting stuff that is out there.
So you’ll have to take your reedmaking and maintenance needs elsewhere.

Speaking of, I have a friend who has one and we know not the reed specs. Can anyone share, or can you point me in the direction of someone who might? Thank you so much!

The C chanter I have has a spruce reed made by our very own “BrazenKane”. I don’t know if he’s reeded the D chanters, though.
