I have Martin Simpson’s “Kind Letters” CD. Track 4 “Here’s Adieu…” has the most sublime whistle accompaniment: like liquid honey in the ears. I started playing because I went to a concert where someone accompanied one of the songs on a whistle and I thought “I want to do that!” There then followed ten years of practice but I still can’t play like that.
I wondered if anyone else has a favourite whistle accompanied song or any tips on accompanying.
