Mark Hoza little Flute/Fife in Bb (conical bore) made of Cooktown Ironwood in 1999 and includes Mark’s custom made leather case/roll.
This is a lovely little flute with a very sweet voice. It is not a loud fife for martial music, but softer and sweeter for small groups or chamber music. The flute plays well in tune for 2 octaves, but starts to go flat at 2nd G and A (B & C# on a D-flute). This is a two-piece flute with a long tennon for tuning. I can play this flute @ 440 with the slide shut and the head rolled in (just the way I like it). 
To me the swell and final on the flute body, just cry out for a B-key.
