F/S Flutes

Hello!
Parting company is never easy, but I hope these will find a nice home:

Flute in low C, 7 keys, African Blackwood, by Gilles Lehart. (Similar sound to Bb, but with dexterity of a D flute)
Flute in E, 7 keys, African Blackwood, by Gilles Lehart (really fun, powerful, easy to play, sparkly, bouncy flute!)

Both flutes with 7 keys. Why 7, not 8? Because 7 is the most you can have on a Lehart flute! Regular 6 keys as normal with semitone below (C sharp on D flute). So B on the C flute, and Eb on the E flute.

Prices and possibly video coming soon… P.M or email calumfrancisstewart (at) gmail (dot) com for more information!
Reduced price if someone is interested in both. Free postage in Europe.
Usual good sturdy, quality, strident sound from Lehart.

I’m surprised there’s more interest for the E than for the C…

E is a really fun key for a flute

Sure, but has less uses, I think?

C flutes are very useful flutes indeed

I believe it gets you a cross-fingered A.

assuming ya mean by flatting the OOO OOO note you can play in A Ionian, yeah…

'course A is still XXX OOO, what can be helpful as it has three notes below the tonic…

calum, great music and songs from your new album…
i like especially 'the coal trade ’ song and arrangments of songs and tunes in general …
