I’m putting my CJ Dixon chanter up for sale. It is made of Cocobolo with blackwood mounts, and has a brass reed cap. (there is a picture on CJ’s site that looks just like it - I don’t have a way to post my own pic right now).
It has an easy playing reed that is in tune.

I had a Dixon Rosewood D chanter 2 or 3 years back. It was a nice sounding, well finished chanter that was easy to reed.

Steven Speilberg has approached me for the film rights ,and I have been working closely with the screenwriters so the film will be as true to life as possible.
The working title of the film is "The regulator man begins ".
It is set in the not to distant future where the earth has been invaded by alien mutant GHBer’s who plan to take over the earth by exploding the heads of all the world leaders by subjecting them to loud and shrill bagpipe music . The earth has only one chance ,the super uilleann piper Rory B Bellows .The only probelm is that he has not got his full power yet(regulators),but by chance he meets a great and mytical pipemaker who puts him on his waiting list. Just as the earth is about to be taken over Rory receives his magical regulators and fullfills his destiny.
With his full power he can fly faster than a speeding bullit by useing jet powered drones and kills those nasty GHBer’s with magical regulator chords and super hard D crans. The grand finale is a piping showdown with the alien leader “Darth Hackett”, who on hearing the beautiful music of the uilleann pipes flees earth defeated, of course leaving the door open for a sequel
Rory is going to be played by George Clooney.
