Thanks to everyone here who bid and congrats on whoever it was who guessed it would go for between 1400 and 1600.

Another bidder contacted me today saying that they had received a message on eBay with a second chance offer. THIS IS A SCAM! The item has been paid for and will ship later today. Do not accept this offer if you are given it.

Yeah, these second chance offer scams have become really common, I got them on two of the last 3 musical instruments I bid on (and lost.)

I got one too! But since my high bid was only $600 I figured it was too good to be true. :slight_smile:

That’s a shame. I remember back in the day, when I was offered second chance and it was actually for reals.

Got a nice flute that way, once, too.
