This set has been extensively gone over and modified by the Maine pipe maker: Bruce Childress. He modified the chanter to improve the tone quality, add a stop key, and improve bottom hand grip. He modified the tenor drone to improve the tone. He also modified the regulators to improve the tuning pins and key springs.
So I suppose this nullifies your Neil O’Grady warranty,but maybe you get a BC warranty.

Maybe but why was this neccessary as I have never heard anything bad about NG’s pipes and they are often recommended here. Having said that here in the UK there are several who will take a reamer or rasp to other makers work to try to fit it with their own reeds
I think the best advice is always go to your own maker first although not really possible for those lucky enough to own a Harrington, Coyne, Egan, Taylor etc. set. hmm…or a TaRDiS ![]()
