Hi NorCal! I have no clue why so many people are parting with their Copelands. There are three on eBay right now. (high D, alto F and low D) Christmas money maybe? My friend had some unexpected expenses that led to his having to sell the low D, so I guess it could be for a number of reasons. 
I’m selling them to buy more whistles and flutes! I mean, maybe those people are selling them to buy whistles and flutes.
i can’t get used to conical whistles, so i stick with the straight bores.
