So “do not open with sharp instruments” was what the box said.
Bashing the box open with a rock didn’t seem to protect the item. What am I doing wrong?

I thought Sharp was mostly electronics, TVs, microwaves, ricecookers, photovoltaics etc.
Some might suggest that the warning’s spectacular illogic is merely a cheap and easy way to forestall liability of the packager should one cut oneself, or the product, while opening it. No, I think it runs deeper than that: the instructions are entrapment, meant to incite your blatant disregard of authority. It’s sort of like that “Do not remove under penalty of law” tag that comes with your mattress. Of course you think about tearing that sucker off - as if you haven’t done so already, you scofflaw. And we KNOW you haven’t used that rock. What do you take us for? The SWAT team should be at your door shortly. Good luck with your legal defense.
Fire.
Numerous members of my family are computer illiterate. Most now have digital cameras but they have to take them to photo lab to have pictures downloaded and printed. They also get a disc from the lab which they have no idea how to use even though they have DVD players that could easily show the photos. Anyway, every few months I get a thick envelope that has hand written all over the outside: PHOTOS!!! DO NOT BEND!!! The condition of the photos in the envelop is what one would expect after traveling across the country or halfway around the world, bent.

Oops. There goes Aunt Marguerite’s fruit cake. Damn. Gotta work on that.
Every time I say “fire cleanses all” people look at me funny.
…Well. That was an awkward silence. Haha.
I just got delivered to me today, half of the purchases that I made for my guitars. I got exactly 1/2 the stuff for one guitar and 1/2 the stuff for the other guitar, so I can’t do a thing. I need to change strings.
Ar. Every Christmas, change the strings, whether it needs it or not.
Just pull out to flatten your instrument slightly.
No biggie.
Here’s an irony:

Love it.
My favourite is the label that says ‘This side up’. How useful is that? ‘This side down’ might be more useful.
Think it through.
