I know that! The turkey drop was from the #1 rated episode. I’ve seen people nearly wet themselves laughing. And it wasn’t Les Nessman who dropped them . . . it was Arthur Carlson, the none-too-swift station manager.
Actually, there is a radio station in Cincinnati that throws Frozen turkey’s out of helicopters.

Each year around thanksgiving, WKRC commemerates the TV series ‘WKRP’ by drawing a chalk number grid on the parking lot at the River Downs racetrack. If the turkey lands in your square, the station treats you to a Thanksgiving meal.
The joke around Cincinnati is that the radio station staff and employee are given the frozen turkey remains. That part is only a joke, I hope.

Cincinnati is also famous for ticketing a blind person for jaywalking, Marge Scott and unfortunately the KKK putting a cross on fountain square creating lots of racial turmoil.
The WKRP episode was throwing live turkeys from the chopper, Les didn’t know that turkeys couldn’t fly. Very humorous episode, there were no turkey display in this act - no animal rights violations, just funny.

you forgot to add what is “famous” in your back yard - a 1/3 scale replica of the Eiffel Tower!! (I spent 5 summers working at KI back in the '70s and my mom works there NOW!) If you weren’t there then - I could tell you stories about when the baboons got out into Kings High School, or when the penquins got all the way to Indian Hill!!!
