Scientists believe they have found the missing link between whales and their land-based ancestors.

What rot!
My mummy told me that whales are made from fairy dust and the toenail clippings of elves mixed with Iron Bru.

This comes as no surprise at all to Lucky and Jack.

Whales are made of krill.

Whales are not like snowflakes, in that they all resemble one another.

Hence the term “Alike as two whales in a pod”.

Your Great Granny’s Receipt

1 lb Cubed deer-like foxy whale thang
3 tb Oleo or butter
2 c Medium white sauce
1 ts Celery salt
1/4 ts Pepper
3 tb Chopped parsley
2 ts Worcestershire sauce
1/4 c Pickle relish
Crunchy Toppings

1/2 c Bread crumbs
2 tb Oleo or butter

Brown that foxy whale thang in 3 tablespoons oleo or butter. Add a small amount of water and cook the thang in a covered skillet until tender, adding a little water from time to time as needed. When done add white sauce, seasonings, parsley and pickle relish. Put mixture in a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and dot with oleo or butter. Bake in a moderate oven (350 degrees F.) until crumbs is browned.

Eeeww! Cook the deer-like foxy whale thang? Ruins it, he does, precious, ruins good food. What’s “white sauce”, we wants to know. :boggle:

I see the resemblence. Yep. It certainly looks like a whale.

Well, this should be on the poly-con board. But since it isn’t, I’ll go ahead and say what we’re all thinking anyway:

It really isn’t very deer-like.

There, I said it.

Tom

It’s a cream sauce, made with butter and flour and milk.

Now that’s going too far!

That is totally bizarre. Whales look way more like fish than that little mouse thing those silly scientists think is a deer/fox-like thing. No way. I knows a rodent when I sees one.
