Hi - thanks for the heads up. I’m an uilleann/highland/NSP piper and I’ve been reading here on and off for a while, but I prefer to read rather to float my opinion. I’d like to sell this chanter, so I registered.
Perhaps…but 'tis not frowned upon by me. I think it preferable that myself or anyone else on the forum would get first notice of pending sales. I look at it as kind of a perk really.
True also that there are the Uilleannobsession site and the Uilleann discussion forum that make space for sale items…but newbies aren’t likely to know that right away as this seems to be the most known forum. And if we treat them nice they just may stick around for more idle chat.
I know it’s been debated before but that’s my two cents.
For $100? Why complain about posting? Snap it up! (I agree with the “perks” comment.)
