Hello everyone,
I was wondering if I could tap into the collective wisdom of the forum.
I’m trying to get a realistic idea of what my Dave Williams flute might be worth in today’s market. I’m not advertising it for sale at this stage – I’m simply interested in hearing what people think it would currently fetch.
It was bought new by me from Hobgoblin Music on 16 June 1998, and I’ve owned it ever since.
Specification:
- Dave Williams handmade flute
- Keyless in D
- African blackwood
- Sterling silver rings
- Tuning slide
- Original fitted hard case
- Original Hobgoblin receipt
It has been carefully looked after and, to the best of my knowledge, is in excellent condition with no cracks or repairs. The original corks are still fitted.
I’ve attached a few photographs.
I’d be genuinely interested in hearing what members think would be a realistic current value for a private sale.
Many thanks,
Simon
