For sale by the original owner is a beautiful keyless Dave Williams flute in blackwood and nickel silver, made in 1986. I’m selling this one because I just have too many!
For complete details, including photos and a video clip, please see: http://davewilliamsflute.weebly.com/
The flute is in three sections. The head joint is fully lined in brass, while the tuning slide is nickel silver. I’m not exactly sure what historical style this flute is based on. My best guess is that it’s a modification of a Rudall & Rose model, but what would be the lower and foot joints are integrated in a single piece.
It’s a nice, easy blower that doesn’t require a lot of air, yet the volume is mighty, with a great honking, reedy tone and a crisp response. There’s no question you’ll hold your own in any session with this flute.
I’m asking $950, or best offer. I’ll ship insured in the U.S. and Canada, for $20. For destinations abroad, I’ll be happy to research and give a shipping/insurance quote.
Please call or email if you have any questions.
