Cumbria trip

I’ll be in the Lake District (Cumbria, UK) next week, Hawkeshead to be precise.

Anybody know of any ITM or UP venues/people/stuff I should check out while I’m there? (I’m usually so knackered from walking up mountains on these trips, though, I won’t have enough energy to play myself! )

I think Ray Sloan is based out in Hexham way, and puts on the odd gig/recital. Could be wrong, but check out his website. I think its www.raysloan.com or something similar.
