
Looking down the north Cornwall coast at 4.30 this afternoon. In the distance, left to right, you can see Tintagel Head, Pentire Point and Trevose Head. I was standing just south of Compass Point, Bude.

Suddenly the light gets greater with intensity and clouds roll back. A large illuminated foot descends and firmly plants down upon the earth.
A voice echos from on high, “Steve, you have a whistle I could borrow?”.
Quickly thinking, Steve realizes that his whistle is too small for God and convinces him to go hollow out a phone pole and put some toneholes it. ![]()
