Crepuscular rays

Looking down the north Cornwall coast at 4.30 this afternoon. In the distance, left to right, you can see Tintagel Head, Pentire Point and Trevose Head. I was standing just south of Compass Point, Bude.

Oh good. For a moment there, I was afraid “crepuscular” had something to do with hemorrhoids.

Very lovely pic, by the way.

Steve, ya got a sad life there don’t ya.

Great shot!

Thanks for sharing,
Denny

At risk of over-egging the pudding, here’s another I took at roughly the same time (before anyone says anything that’s NOT my family nor is it my harem!

Beautiful picture.

Suddenly the light gets greater with intensity and clouds roll back. A large illuminated foot descends and firmly plants down upon the earth.

A voice echos from on high, “Steve, you have a whistle I could borrow?”.

Quickly thinking, Steve realizes that his whistle is too small for God and convinces him to go hollow out a phone pole and put some toneholes it.

I did not know corpuscles travelled in rays… :boggle:

They usually don’t, having a penchant for Rolls Royce… eh… Silver Cloud.
