This thread looked lonely, so I thought I would comment. No thread likes to die a quick death because of zero comments, even one about crepuscular rays. I was on Lake Michigan a couple weeks ago, and for the record I did not see any crepuscular rays, anticrepuscular rays, or any of their compliments.
I was just glad that no one was trying to blame them on the Canadians. 
Well, it made me think of a particular scene out of Silence of the Lambs, but it was a stretch and I didn’t want to creep anyone out more than usual.
