The Milky Way Over Pulpit Rock

Doesn’t look like you could do much sunbathing on that rocky “beach”. Wading into the water there might also be a problem. Pretty nighttime sky, though.

Just don’t step on any of the many species of stone-fish in the area, of course you have to fight your way through all the poisonous snakes and spiders on the shore just to get to the water where just as many poisonous species live, hardly worth the effort.

Hi, is it actually a Pulpit Rock i.e Mass Rock. Where is it? Nice photo. Thanks!

You can click on the astronomy photos to see the description beneath the photo.

Still infested with toxic animals, not the kind of place any sane person would venture.

I was thinking of giving it up…does anyone really do that?

ah, besides me, in preview, before I post it just ta see if it works?

I often do, unless I’ve already been to the APOD site myself. I’ve had it bookmarked for years now but sometimes I don’t think to check it until I see one of these threads.

Clicky the piccy??? Moi? You MUST be kidding…it’s far easier to ask

For the record, I do, quite often

aw, well then…for you, I will continue the practice
