Do you do any viewing/photographing yourself? If I recall correctly, Alan Dyer moved to the Okanogan just for the seeing/imaging opportunities.

The local light pollution makes serious viewing impossible.
That coupled with being way to close to sea level!
There is a place about 4 miles from trail head that I like…
…but that 4 miles takes all day, it’s a bit steep.
You’d probably need a mule to carry your 'scope up there.
