I have a new batch of whistles up for grabs. Pics:

All of these have moderate volume and pretty good balance and easy transitions between the octaves. Each is shown with the tuning slide out to where the whistle plays at A440 for me. I do my best to describe the sound of each.
Left to right:
94 – osage orange with brass. Very easy player, clear robust sound but not too sweet or loud. RH2 has a chip out of the edge, which doesn’t affect the sound or playability. $100
95 – Burmese blackwood with aluminum. Sound similar to #94, but louder. A spectacular piece of wood, some marks on the mouthpiece. $125
96 – olivewood with brass. This was made from two different pieces of wood. This isn’t for sale, but will be going out on a tour with a prototype C; I’ll post in February about this.
The next four are all fruitwood (plum or pear – something ornamental from the prunus family that I received from a friend) from the same piece and brass fittings.
97 – nice traditional sound, a little breathy. $125
98 – easy player, pure sweet sound. [spoken for]
99 – pure and sweet. $125
100 – Still pure and sweet, but less so than the previous two. $125
I also have one in tulipwood from a previous batch. This one has been out to a potential customer, was returned in part due to clogging issues. I think I have these addressed. $80
