Hi all-- as you contemplate what to do with all the extra gift cash you get for Chrismachanakwanzaka, why not consider a new whistle. Here are some goodies I have in various stages of completion.

From the left:
African Blackwood “factory second” completed whistle. This one was nearly finished a while back when it developed some cracks. Never got around to finishing the repair until this weekend. The cracks are barely visible if you know where to look. It also has one errant tool mark too deep to sand out
. That’s right next to a ring, so it really isn’t very noticeable. Plays like a champ, but since it’s not perfect I’m offering it for $200 instead of $250, plus shipping. Naturally, the repairs are fully guaranteed.
Acetal Polymer D-- finished and ready to ship
Green Laminated wood D±- OK, it’s a bit out there, but this brilliant emerald green is actually very pretty. Ready to ship
The following are finished tubes which can be finished into a whistle on fairly short order:
Birdseye Maple D+ or C
Mesquite
Burmese Blackwood – This is more brown than the African variety, with more visible grain
African Blackwood
Pink Ivory-- not actual ivory, this is a truly pink species of rare hardwood. No elephants were harmed to make this whistle
Spalted Tamarind
Marblewood
Orange laminated wood
Purple laminated wood
Wishing all a wonderful holiday season, and a peaceful New Year!
