Hello all,

I’ve been a bit hectic lately playing here and there as well as catching up on whistle orders so I’m about a week behind the departure date for the first of my whistle tour.

Here’s the list so far,

    So here are the rules of the game
    Each player gets the whistle for 3 weeks, give or take a few days. Then you send it on to the next person.
    Thats really it…

Within a few days of getting the whistle you should contact the next person on the list and make sure you have their address details. I think everyone on the tour is a board member but contact me if you have any bother with contacting people.
Having a sbcglobal email address, I’m very aware of how emails can bounce and get lost!

I should have the whistle in the mail to Jason by friday coming

You all can do the maths and roughly figure out when the whistle comes your way and if you need to switch places on the list with anyone just go ahead and pm them and see what you can figure out.
I’m sure it can be done once the whistle keeps moving on.

If any of you have questions feel free to ask.

I’m sure I’ve forgotton something but I’ll post more when I think of it.

Looking forward to the tour.

But three weeks??? Holy cow!!!

Whoever is number six, I promise I’ll take no longer than a week.

Number eight will be nearly six months waiting. If the whistle is as good as people say, the price will have gone up three times before they even get it. :boggle: :slight_smile:

I feel your pain, Tucson! When I was conducting the Dixon Session tour, folks had a week. People having busy lives and such would sometimes forget the time frame and the tour went on and on.

While three weeks will give people a very reasonable opportunity to try it out without being rushed, it could also cause them to figure they have lots of time and put it off, eventually forgetting about it.

All while Tucson Whistler is drooling at the window. Six months from now!!!

Fear not my friends. I rarely keep a tour whistle for more than a week. Just long enough to get to know it and see what kind of fun we can have together :sunglasses:

Do you think 3 weeks is too long?

Honestly I just looked around the forum at other makers tour info and I thought I read that 3 weeks was the norm.
I’ll shorten it you you all think I should.

Three weeks is fine with me. I have your D/C CPVC set to play with until then :thumbsup:. BTW, the D body came in yesterday and it is NOT disappointing. I don’t know what it is, but there’s something about it that just…I don’t even know how to explain it, I just want to keep playing it.

By all means keep it at three weeks. Some people may need that long.

I’ll most likely keep it for a couple days.

I look forward to trying it out.

Ok heres what I’ll do,

You can keep the whistle for 3 weeks max but whenever you decide to send it on let the next person know it’s coming and let me knowtoo so I can keep other folk on the list updated.

Also if everyone one the tour would pm me their email address’ I can keep everone posted with a group email without clogging up this forum.

I know it’s good advertising for me but I don’t want to abuse the commercial posting rules.
