I asked for sage advice on how to organize this, and was told that it would easiest to get responses here on the message board. I’ll edit this post, add your name to the list, and people could check back here when its time to move it on to the next person in line.
I’ve got one person so far, and will add others as we go:
Mr Nate is the first. Please send me your address in a PM and when I have the new batch of low D’s (end of next week) I’ll pick one and send it on.

We may just try a double tour so that the non-North Americans have a go at it, too.
I’ve already sent a PM, but I wanted to give a public thank you for organizing a tour. The Sweetheart low D is sort of a mystery whistle. There seems to be no recording posted anywhere, yet there are all these great reviews on the board.
Looking forward to hearing what all the talk is about.
Monkey, there was an attempt to make them interchangeable, but it didn’t work as well as Walt would have liked, so no, we can’t do a Resonance Trio the way we do with the Professional.
But Walt did suggest that we get the Res Flute out on tour too, so I’ll start a thread there and see how it flies.
The low whistle is either on its way to Pjuul or he already has it. I didn’t keep it for long, because I didn’t like it. The tone holes weren’t comfortable for me, and it didn’t sound in tune. Thanks for letting me try it!
I once had a Sweetheart D Irish Flute and it had a lovely tone but I traded it for an Overton Low D whistle( a most magnificent instrument). I had asked Ralph if I could get a whistle head for the body but apparently there were design issues that wouldn’t make it feasible. My ebony Sweetheart Sop. D is a total joy and I’m dying to try out their low whistles! I hope I don’t have to wait too long!!!
Yes, you were the first on the European tour, but if the whistle didn’t sound in tune, I want it back! I’ll interrupt the tour, make sure its been seen (and heard) by the power that be, and get it back on the road after.
