Coppers & Brass/Humors Ennistymon

A fellow piper and I have discussed whther or not these two are indeed different tunes, or variations on one tune. Any thoughts?

Taken from the sleeve notes of NPU’s The Master Pipers volume 1..

When these are played here in Manchester they have similar but distinctly different first parts, the second parts are played the same. And of course a third part for the Humour of..
