I’m staying in Philly and I just did the coolest thing!
I visited the Copeland Woodwind shop!
Michael showed me all of this cool stuff like his low D which was really good and the Clarke that “inspired” him.

Anyway I just got a Howard low D yesterday and I like it very much. The weird thing is that it’s really easy for me. Everyone’s saying how hard it is, but I really don’t think it is. I don’t think my hands are that big, but I never really thought about it before.

Nice! I can only dream of a Copeland, and look at the pretty pictures on the website.

I enjoyed emailing a picture of one to my MIL and saying (essentially) "Does this look like a flutophone to you?
