Needless to say, I was very happy. 
He should be very proud of himself, that’s for sure…especially with all he’s been through.

Ah yes, baseball, another Canadian game. The first recorded baseball game was June 4th, 1838 at Beachville, Ontario, just a few miles from here. That’s a year before Cooperstown. The game was played on a holiday commemorating the overthrow of the attempted Rebellion of 1837 a year earlier.
