Ah yes, baseball, another Canadian game. The first recorded baseball game was June 4th, 1838 at Beachville, Ontario, just a few miles from here. That’s a year before Cooperstown. The game was played on a holiday commemorating the overthrow of the attempted Rebellion of 1837 a year earlier.
